the LS3 throttle body WILL bolt on if you flip it ,
on the LS3 the TB motor and TPS are on the drivers side , just turn it 180 dgrees so that the motor and TPS are on the passenger side and itll fit

I never got a email back from them on what size they bore there tb to. The one on ebay would fit fine but if its bored to 87mm then it would be useless as the 6.2l is already 87mm

The 90mm LS3 TB will bolt right up to the L92 manifold as it has the same bolt pattern. I have both types and you have to flip the car one from the way it sits on the car manifold - with the TB motor on the right side. The blade then actually opens the opposite way from the way the 87mm truck one opens, but that is not the issue. I found that the car TB doesn't open to a full 100% WOT. I tried for the longest time, including posting on this forum, to get some info on what makes it work that way, but couldn't. So I ported my 87mm truck TB and that made a difference. If you look at the stock TB you will see a huge hump in the inlet that must be for part throttle response, but which is a big restriction at WOT. I removed that hump and blended the inlet, but it still doesnt look as good as the ported TB the OP posted. Therefore, it is wrong to say that a good ported 87mm TB is useless, as it will flow a whole lot more air that the stocker with the hump in it.

I scored a new stock tb off ebay and just ported it with a dremel and tossed it on, made a nice difference in throttle response, not sure how much over all power was added though. You can find them for $50-90, all depending on age/condition, little cheaper to me than messing with buying a ported one and shipping back a core. Now I can port my stocker and sell it:p

Rather than start a new thread ill just add to this one.

I found CI DENALIS' thread on this and got curious so i decieded to do some logging and found that mine is also only opening to 83%. I used 2 different scan tools to verify this too. So i pulled out my stocker and plugged the harness into it without actually bolting it on and same thing both scan tools show to be only opening to 83%. What gives? Is this because of the angle that the blade sits at when closed?
I didnt actually see the throttle blade when the pedal was floored cause i didnt have someone mash the pedal so i could look, just going by what the scanners were reading. And if anyone is curious i was using an elm bluetooth adapter with my cell and the torque app for android and the other tool i tried was my old diablo preditor.

I will be getting my M.I.T. on the 31st. I will have someone hit the peddle and take a video of it opening. Does the truck have to be running or just key on to open the throttle?

Just Needs to be in the on/run position to open the throttle. Engine doesnt need to be running.
