are the tbs controled by voltages? maby the truck tb requires 7v to oper full but the ls7 requires 10v. this can be fixed

Gen IV tb's : 83% = 100% wot complete Tb opened.

Yep, if you are not sure if it is opening all the way just go key on and put the pedal to the floor and verify. Most smart phones have cameras, and most people have smart phones. With that statment you can conclude that most people have cameras handy. hehe

but if you flip it the butterfly will open the opposite way....wont that make a difference in the direction/velocity?? will it even matter?

the 90mm opens to 100% it also opens the same way

I wasn't referring to the voltage reading. I actually watched it and had someone floor the throttle. And it only opened to somewhere around 90%. I called a bunch of people about it and some said there was a difference with the TB motor that caused it and there was someone offering a harness that would fix it, but meanwhile I ported the stock 87mm and that worked fine, without any change to the tune for the larger a blade, so I never bothered with it again. FYI:The 90mm TB I have is off a Z06 vette, which I was informed is the same as the LS2 and LS3, but I dont know for sure. I wasn't suggesting that the fact that the throttle blade opened in the opposite direction made any difference in performance.
In any event, the most important thing is that there is no real need to waste money to step up to a 90mm when you can port the stocker for free, and I doubt that anyone will see any real gain in HP.
