I have a question. I put shackles & pulled blocks on my 4 door. I have the typical vibration. The trans yolk is 6* down & the pinion yolk is at 0* w/ 2* shims. Should i get 4* shims or get a trans spacer?

that shouldn't cause a vibration at all man. as for the 6* at trans where is the u-joint at the front of driveshaft at? then you subtract that from the 6* and that is your "working angle"
as for the rear end if the pinion yoke is 0* then what is the rear u-joint at the driveshaft at?

as for the transmission 6* down towards rear end correct? then I would start with washers at the transmission (since it is easier to dial it in that way) if you get the trans to 3* and you still have a vibration then you need to put it back stock and go to the rear end imho

FILLPOT: the 10* up is very bad, you may actually need 6* depending if you put the flip kit in correct. the shortest side of the flip kit goes to the front of the truck.

pics of the angle finder on each part would be awesome. also take the measurements from the drivers side imho.

it's easier to throw them in while the rear end is apart, just shim the trans if needed glad you noticed that they were backwards before paying someone

iamkeniff, your talking about what the axle sits in correct? The only way this mcagughys will go is one way looks like, you've got a narrower piece on one side and a wider piece on the other, that's on each end of the u shaped piece the axle sits in, I hope this makes since!

Correct
1 is wide which is shorter (goes towards the front of truck)
1 is narrow which is taller ( goes towards the rear of truck)

Still problems guys, I'm pulling my hair out with this dam thing, this all started really when I had a shop put some 4.10s in and shortened the drive shaft, the pinon angle is good, this is the second set of 4.10s I've had them install, this set are motives, not many choices for the 14 bolt looks like, as bad as it looks I may have to put the 3.42's back in, any ideas? THANKS!
