Thanks for chiming in.

I only hope that mine will run close to your 1/4 mile time & MPH!

If you're referring to my truck - AIRIAD tube only, AFR 1 7/8" headers and catted Y w/ the stock cat-back, Pat G tune. That's it . . .

Glad you're happy with the tune Lloyd. For the rest of you who may have questions, I have spent 3 years refining the variable valve timing tables on these 6.2L trucks and the results are staggering. If your tunes do not have significant modifications to the VVT cam phasing tables and VVT ignition timing tables, then you're missing out. While WOT gains are nice, the part throttle gains absolutely transform the street manners. It's like gaining another 50rwhp at 1600 rpm compared to stock.

Happy doesn't really describe how I feel about the tune, Patrick. Maybe more like ecstatic???

Anyway - Patrick's right about the dyno numbers not telling the whole story!

The part throttle, lower RPM, "daily driving" throttle response and torque have truly transformed the way my truck drives. Throttle response is beyond instantaneous, and the transmission shift quality - all the way from light thottle to WOT @ 6000 RPM - well, that's worth the price of admission by itself!

Thanks, Daryn - and all you guys - for the props.

If the truck weighs what I think it does, I'm predicting a 13.5 @ 101 in the 1/4. NICE!

Hope to find out for sure this weekend at HRP, or on Feb 26 at SAR.

Does the stock cat back sound a bit better with he headers?

U say it b hard to get 400hp with out at cam. U made 370 and I'll have a pulley and throttle body and a better intake ,, I hope I get 390 or close to it

The stock cat-back is absolutely "musical" with the headers and high-flow cats. I've NEVER heard a better sounding exhaust system, and I've owned several dozen muscle cars and other trucks through the years! VERY healthy tone on the throttle, yet NO drone at cruise speeds and throttle openings - JUST PERFECT!

You might get close to 400 RWHP with your mods and a GOOD tune, but doubt you can make that number without a cam. UD pulley is worth what at the wheels - 10 HP? I'm CERTAINLY no great expert, but I'm doubting that you'll see much HP gain from your CAI and throttle mody mods. Just my .02 . . .

Good to hear about the exhaust
Do u think the stock exhaust hurts hp any
Think a cutout or other exhaust would only gain 5-10 hp?
