I can't wait to see your track times... what size wheels did you use for the dyno?
Thanks for the kudos.

Patrick G dynos at Kurt Decker's place in Victoria, TX.

Looking forward to track testing myself! Hopefully this Saturday @ HRP (Baytown), but the weather forecast doesn't look good.

If not then, I'll be at Nelson's LS1 truck shootout at San Antonio Raceway on Feb 26th.

Dynoed with my regular DD wheels and tires - Yukon 20's with P305/50 Yoko AVID SUV tires. Big, HEAVY *****'s!

Based on what i've seen with Mustang dyno's you may have the strongest bolt on 6.2L to date, Mustang's are supposed to read lower truck for truck...were those number corrected or uncorrected? I miss my 2007 6.2L it felt a little spunkier stock for stock, my 2007 was out of injector just from intake/tune/exhaust..are your injectors maxed out? The 2009-2011 model lost 10 degrees of CAM phasing but gained large injectors for E85..

Quits gaining HP - yes - but look how flat that HP curve is! Over 360 from 5000 to 6000+. Damn good in my book.

Cam is holding it back - NO doubt. Pat G is working on a cam rec for me as I type this . . .

Well - that's quite an honor, but not MY doing, of course. Gotta give credit where it's due - and that's to Patrick G. (and the ARH 1 7/8 headers!)

Yes - Mustang dynos are stingier than DynoJets. The dyno numbers in your sig are from a DynoJet, I take it?

My numbers ARE corrected. The air was pretty good yesterday - the raw numbers were +10 on the HP and TQ, on an average.

I didn't ask Patrick about the injector duty cycle, but I've heard the same thing. I suppose when I do my camshaft upgrade that I'll need high-flow injectors at that time - DAMN! Oh well - it's only money . . .

Yep - 6.2.

400 to the wheels will be tough without a camshaft upgrade, but - good luck!

Oh yea, it's not like it HP drops out fast or anything! The stock exhaust manifolds hold back midrange so much our peak HP happens 500 rpm sooner now with headers, just a pretty diff feel IMO...The full bolt on L99 Camaro dyno's have a nearly identical curve...
