It's only $50 more and the larger size will not hurt you at all, only help. It gives you more room to grow as well.

as chevydeth said.. the 1 7/8 is for supercharger applications.. + u will definately loose high end torque..

the 1 7/8 isn't going to lose anything on a 6.2.

? the denali has a 3.5" catback correct?
just go 1 7/8" your not gonna lose what you think. itll flow well with the L92s an upgrade to a 90mm TB an 3.5" or 4" CAI
i dunno why you think you'll lose high rpm tq..but w.e you wanna do.
your money not mine.
i know when i upgrade to a bigger motor ill be going 1 7/8" i dont care

I'm on the fence on header size, i'll talk to arh and see what they say.
yeah, the 6.2 should have 3.5 inch exhaust, denali has

So judging from the pictures the MAF sensor is bolted directly to the Throttle Body?

seems that way, air box and normal intake tube is gone

if i was you i'd talk to someone who is dealing with upgraded heads for the 6.2 like Richard at WCCH and see what he thinks your stock head/intake combo would like best throughout the powerband. IMO id rather have room to grow if i ever do S/C my future motor. an if i dont then so be it.

I know what you mean, a blower is a future remote possiblity,
but I don't want to loose low end torque in the mean time.

So, I called arh and they said without hesitaion, 1 7/8 for 6.2, so I gave them the order.
5 days to build, will be here next week.


just need to order cai now, waiting on call backs for stock and price on vararam,
pricing goes from 258 to 400 for same stuff

Truck should be here next week too.
