which parts for 2010
6.2 vmax 4x4 ordered, time to round up some parts.
I ordered g/force 2" spindles and shackles today. need to decide on headers, 1 3/4 or 1 7/8, will be arh also, cai, thinking about the new vararam http://www.vararam.com/tri-power/tri-power.html not sure what to do with the cat back, not much out there for direct fit, corsa or mbrp for sierra denali and thats about it for now. thought i would install the headers, leave the stock 3.5" muffler and take the resonator out of the tail pipe, I don't want a real loud truck. any suggestions??? |
I would go with the 1 3/4 unless you are going to boost or nitrous.. if not it will just hurt you instead of gain IMO. ARH is a good brand.. as far as the vararam.. I am researching that myself... I've read alot of good ratings.

im thinking of getting the vararam as well, it seems like a pretty good air intake system. Anybody running one here?

vararam is an oiled filter? That makes me worry about sensor problems.. I wonder if you can get a high flow paper filter..

L92s breathe better on the top end, id get the 1 7/8" if it was up to me. throw a spec'd cam in it with a 3000/3200 stall an 4:10s
dunno anything about the intake. get it dyno tuned or atleast a street tune from one of the sponsors |
i have a vararam installed on a denali...
check this out.. results ( https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=451879 ) |
1 7/8 on the headers without question. And run the stock catback
