I would do a differnt size pipe. I don't think the stock exhaust is allow for much air flow after the muffler.

Go 3" all the way out.. have them bend it just like your stock exhaust and attach it to the same hangers.. I did that, they even slash cut the end just like the stock pipe.. Running a 3" flowmaster 44 and stock manifolds has a good amount of police arrousing noise... Too much for when i decide to put headers on but its just my .02

replace the muffler with something a little less radical and there you go.. Good flow and great sound..

I think the Flowmaster series has an SUV muffler Sounds great, buddys dad has one on an 8.1 powered burban..

put a resonator in front of muffler, been there, done that.
lt's and high flow mufflers and no cats is going to be loud.

any fitment issues with the front tansaxle and pacesetter LTs?

Or with the flanges and the heads for that matter? For some reason I have it in my head the pacesetters must be cheaply built, but maybe that's cause I'm getting used to seeing 1,500 price tags on competitors' headers.
