Default oil pressure

guys i have an 09 i just noticed that my oil pressure sits kinda low like around 30 or less. now my brother has an 08 and his oil pressure is around 50.

what are some issues that this might cause, and how do i fix this?

and if anyone has the same issue let me know.

Is this at idle? My 2008 idles at around 30-33 after it has reached operating temp and at 65mph it is about 45ish. My dad's 2009 is lucky to push 40 at cruising about 30-33 at temp idling. Only difference btw the 2 trucks is mine is a 4 speed and his is a 6 speed automatic.

it can depend on the oil you're using. thinner oil yields lower oil pressure. synthetic or conventional makes a difference too.
