My 07 vmax has duals to the muffler stock. Guess it depends on how you set up muffler or mufflers. Stock cats fell off one day, did a magnaflow dual in single out and it sounds pretty nice. Really just a matter of spending money and playing with it till you find the sweet spot only you know you've reached.

You'll lose low end power with your mods. I've had duals on 2 of my GM trucks, 1 cammed with pretty much all the bolt-ons and one with all bolt ons stock cam. Both were down on power down low. Went back to a single 3" with a good flowing muffler and it was night and day. Just my 2 cents and personal experience.
