I haven't actually had mine on the dyno, but Justin at Blackbear sent me one about a year ago after my tune for the MAX as I was interested in what I gained and it was like 289-290 hp and tq with just a tune with a run in second gear and torque converted unlocked. ....said something about a load bearing dyno so numbers would be lower than some by about 25 each respectively???? If that makes any sense...doesn't to me since I'm a rookie, but thought I would add. The curves were just about completely flat though. Stock versus tune was up about 25-30 hp/tq throughout the entire range. No other mods.

Load bearing is just how it sounds bearing the actual load of the truck and not just spinning a roller. I will bet money these 5.3s putting down over 300 with an intake was on a dynojet. Everybody should post up dyno sheets so we have a better idea of your numbers.

If that was on a load bearing dyno, you can typically add 15% to it, to get a dynojet number. That would put you at 284 RWHP. Would that number be more in line with what you're use to seeing?

mine dynoed 242rwhp and 310 rwtq with full bolt ons and no tune then with tune it was at 292 rwhp and 333 rwtq when the drive shaft shot out of it the graph looked like the truck was still pulling really hard. I'm still working on putting it back together to see what the final number is once we're able to fine tune it. I'll post my graphs once we're done with it. I believe the dyno is a mustang dyno...
