With my mods I just went again and had it at the dyno. 312 rwhp and 295 rwtq is what it did. I have a different cam that I going to try next.

put down 255rwhp and 250 rwtq. I'm going back to see what it will do with the mods I did. The dyno that I went to is very accurate so I believe these numbers are true.
I think your numbers are very low. The dyno is either very wrong or you have something wrong with the truck.

So with an cai, good exhaust and a good tune my 08 5.3 should be able to be about 270ish to the ground? for those of you that have done stuff to yours what are the boltons that make the biggest differences?

RIPBOYD put down 315rwhp with just a cai, Lts, and a tune in his NNBS CCSB.

How much did GM do to the new 5.3s for them to be making as much power as the lq4 and lq9? The old 5.3 put what, 250-260rwhp stock? I'm hoping for 320 at the rear after LTs and a custom cam

I highly doubt the new 5.3 is making the same power under the curve as any version of the 6.0

Please elaborate... temp, what kind of dyno, ANYTHING done to the truck, gear, TC locked, etc. I am baffled as to how the NNBS 5.3 numbers are so high.

I highly doubt there is something wrong with my truck. I know the dyno is accurate. My is a 4wd so there will be a greater powerloss and I do have 20" wheels, and a big aluminum driveshaft which all hurt perf. I went from 255 to 312 with mods. I would wonder about the accuracy of the dynos that are producing these big numbers for everyone else truck??
