Default NNBS 4l60e swap to 4L80e...whos done it?

who done it and would u have any pics and tips.ive just blown my 2nd 60e on my 08'rcsb with only 18k on the clock and its time for an upgrade.im trying to gather up the most info possible.

I did it. Followed redheartbeat's instructions. Worked flawless. I have the TCM file (efi live) for the t42 from an '08 3/4 ton van if you need it.

bringing this back for a reason. yes i know it's three years old. flashing the t42 info from an 08 onto an 07 will have zero effect on how it runs or reacts with the 07 ecm/bcm?

you already have the thread but this helped a ton with the segment side of the swap. no repinning or none of that. crusie control works and converter locks up as supposed to doesnt cycle on and off TunedByFrost.com - Products

Thats what i'm thinking. As I stage up for the 80e swap I might have to add the frosty 4l80e conversion harness to the list.

I have an 07 NNBS 4x4 and am gathering the parts, I have the trans and a few of the smaller things. That harness looks good.

i was skeptical at first. but now glad i bought it. easy to tune just remove the ISS codes and BAM done.
