Default New 6.2 update, thoughts and concerns

ok so i took delivery of my 6.2 this weekend as you can see in other threads i posted about different things. I added a Volant CAI and borla bullet XR1 race muffler with a turn down. Sounds good.

first off the truck came with 87 octane from the dealer and when i ran that dry and switched to 93 it felt like a large difference.

i know this truck is dialed back and needs a tune to shine. i saw a hopped up lightning this weekend and wish i could have been a contender but in near stock form no way.

i have mixed thoughts on the transmission. when im starting from a stop its nice and shifts good at 3/4 throttle, sometimes when i step down from highway speed it doesnt downshift and seems to lug a bit. it likes shifting gears early for the economy. i know if you wack it obviously she will downshift. i cant wait to get it tuned and see how it does. the transmission temperatures stay real low with the cooling package. im happy about that.

next up is headers and that tune and than i will have track times.
