Hmm I was thinking of two things different until i found this thread. I was going to get the ex cab but now Im thinking crew might be the ticket. Plus I was looking at 5.3L but the damn sport suspension and 20" wheels just KILL the other combos on appearance.
$4k more in total than I was looking at but meh... Only live once.
Hows the bluetooth quality on the deck? Did you get the Bridgestones?

I have had an extended cab (2004) and have sat in the 2010 ext-cabs and as far as the room difference vs look, price and weight (250-300lbs), that extra room in the back makes up for it all (I actually like the CC look better). You can actually put 3 grown men in the back and the only thing you will hear is the two on the outside making jokes about the guy in the middle being in the b!+@& seat etc.
The bluetooth works very well- heck of a range also (i had the key on and radio playing, phone in my pocket; I was in garage and truck was at bottom of driveway (approx 30ft) and all of a sudden the radio shut off and I hear ringing in the speakers...lol
As far as background noise.... it seams to pick up wind noise but as long as your windows are up you should be fine. You can also set up a phone book for the truck to use with your phone. You can link up to 6 phones (5 or 6 cant remember exactly) to the truck.
No I did not get the bridgstones...... goodyear.... looking to wear them out as fast as possible to change to a better tire...lol

But when i go the the cottage and tow the boat I never have passengers in the back because with the ex cab ( we're big boys ) it just doesnt jive for a 2+ hr trip. Now with the CC we'd be laughing so I gain a bit there as well.
All in all though its mainly an appearance issue I think the CC looks a lot better than the x cab.
One more question on the bluetooth. Has anyone complained that you were using it? Sounded echo'ish etc on the receivers end? I use the BT a LOT when Im on the road talking to clients etc and I want it to be as clean as my sisters MDX that things electronics are cherry. You cant even tell your on BT when she uses it.

Tdub 23, I went to the local dealership yesterday to figure out how i'd go about ordering a 6.2 in MBM. After a long drawn out process they told me that there is only one way I could order the 6.2 and that was with the Max trailering package, does yours have that package ? I was pretty pissed to find out they didn't offer the color with the Texas edition or Power tech package. Lemme know please.

Nice truck. Just like mine except i choose the Denaili grill and opted for the cloth interior so the kid can mess it up and not leather. Did you find the ashtray yet? I never knew it had one till like two weeks after i bought it.LOL
I highly recommend a tune and a oil catch can!
