the 6.2 wont bolt up to the 4L60E will it?
and if it does, it'll probably shred it?

dont mean to hijack this thread, but.... just to know and to those who may be thinking of something similar....
would spending what, about $3K ?? on a 6.2L plus whatever parts/accessories needed to make it work be worth it or getting your 5.3L supercharged equal, exceed, or meet the power expectations of a 6.2L??

HP wise a supercharger BUT you can make the 6.2 have more hp if you supercharged it or turboed it.

i love my 6.2 vs a 5.3 but if i was to redo it id go 6.0 w a front mount turbo

the 6.2 cam is bigger than the stock 4.8 cam you'll lose hp honestly. if i was you JUST wait for a cam. why pull the cam twice? it's easier to do it on an engine stand vs in the truck. my engine sat for 2 and a half months before i was able to put it together. then it sat another 3-4 weeks before i had time to install it.
well worth the wait i cant get enough of driving the truck. everyone looks, an wants to know what it has. i just tell em its a head and cam 4.3
