Need some tips on nnbs motor swap 4.8 to 6.0

dont mean to hijack this thread, but.... just to know and to those who may be thinking of something similar....
would spending what, about $3K ?? on a 6.2L plus whatever parts/accessories needed to make it work be worth it or getting your 5.3L supercharged equal, exceed, or meet the power expectations of a 6.2L??

hey ken,but i dont have another cam
...just wanted to get it up and going for now then ide throw in a custom grind.........u dont think the stock single bolt 4.8 cam would work for now?

the 6.2 cam is bigger than the stock 4.8 cam you'll lose hp honestly. if i was you JUST wait for a cam. why pull the cam twice? it's easier to do it on an engine stand vs in the truck. my engine sat for 2 and a half months before i was able to put it together. then it sat another 3-4 weeks before i had time to install it.
