Congrats man you will love the truck and especially the 6.2!

I'm ordering my truck soon to get it the way I want it at the price I want it.

First things I plan to do is color match the grille and bumper, there was an LTZ 5.3 red truck there too that was color matched- where do I get a paintable grille and bumper peice?
I was really easy on it the way home, and I could tell it's a real tiger under the right foot. Infact- I had to drive Mom's Escalade this morning to my house because I forgot my cell phone and I was doing 100+ and man it didn't feel that fast. I really like the seats in this truck, msomething I was concerned about as the seats in Moms Esky feel cramped. These are actually sizeable and nice. Well guys- I'm happy as a clam right now, I'll get Pics when I can. Funny- I don't miss the old horse yet............
Congrats, Mark! You got one heck of a nice truck there, and you def did the right thing buying one with the 6.2 - before GM drops that option!

L9H engine is identical to the L92, except as you mentioned it's flex-fuel compatible.

By the way - did you buy a 2WD or 4X4?

Wish GMC would make bright red available on the Sierra Denali, though that would make it a traffic ticket magnet, LOL!

Incorrect - ALL of the 6.2L truck engines have VVT, and that's a good thing.

However, only the 2010-2011 SUV 6.2s have DOD/AFM with their fragile lifters.

So what is the best engine for me to order?

L9H right, like it will have VVT, but not have DOD/AFM?

L9H is the ONLY 6.2 available on the pickups, Kevin. You can't go wrong!

The L94 6.2 WITH DOD/AFM the only 6.2 available on the SUV's.

Good news, because with my luck if there was a choice I would have gotten screwed over some how, lmao.
