Well i always like to pick the finish first. I guess i would ask are you going to leave your grill & bumpers chrome?

No, I plan on getting them colormatched. Along with my mirrors and doorhandles.

Idk what Im gonna do yet as far as the grill goes.

The last couple days Ive been skimming through #SilveradoNation on FaceBook just to look at some wheels, as well as the 'Static NNBS' thread.

Heres a couple wheels I like:

What wheels are these?

Also, has anyone ever color matched a wheel trim/stripe?

Relig, I created an account just to chime in here. I have an 08' GMC Sierra 1500 Midnight Metallic Blue. The truck has gone through several changes since I got it back in 2011.

Here are some pics:

Purchased late 2011:

2012. De-badged, added 2.5" RC level kit, removed air damn, purchased black grille emblem, changed antenna, added floor mats, camo seat and steering wheel covers, added toolbox, added HID's (5k I believe), added 2 12" subs and amps (under backseat box) changed all 4 door speakers to Alpines, Single-in/Dual-out turndown Magnaflow exhaust:

Late 2012. Had the original emblem camo wrapped to match seat covers, had headlights cleared and led white Halo's added, added led switchbacks, added interior and license plate Led's. All White. Added LED Cree 5w projector reverse bulbs. STUPID BRIGHT!). Also added 5% tint all around shortly after this picture:

Now. Trading in headlights for these bad boys below. Had them colormatched to truck, 4 retrofit Bi-Xenon projectors, 4 HID's (yes, that will be 4 low beams and when the high beams kick in, there is a shield that flips down to allow more light output) 4 plasma halos, plasma concept strips, 4 blue demon eyes:

They are not on my truck at the moment, but are being worked on. Next? I plan on adding wheels and tires. 20x10 -12 either black or chrome. Can't decide. on 33x12.5R20 muds. May paint or vinyl wrap the chrome on the grille and/or bumpers to match the truck. Not sure yet. Also, full LED bulb conversion of tails and 3rd brake light and tint on tails and 3rd brake light.

Anyways, that's mine!

Lookin good man.

I was gonna notch mine so I could go 5-8, but Im thinking Im just gonna lower it and add helper bags instead of notching. Also, thinking about going with 22's instead of 24's.

So far, Ive only debadged and demolded mine. Ill take some pics this weekend.

Gonna drop it within the next couple of weeks. Ill keep this thread running when it happens

Just do 55w 5k. Fantastic light output. You'll really like it. Too blue and it defeats the purpose because you'll limit your visibility even more

Look into LED replacement headlight bulbs in your factory housings. Not as much scattered light as the HID and better light color.
