Not trying to drag the thread out, but I think if it's a base model truck (not having digital controls) the A/C will never revert back to recirc mode without operator input... I experimented a lot yesterday...

Hopefully this will be a decent reference thread. Looks like digital A/C controls will revert back to recirc after its cooled, and manual will not.

Anyone disagree or have different experience. ?

 

How are you adding the remote start? I have an 07 and i want to put it on my truck. Are all the new trucks wired for it and i just have to buy the transmitter or do you have to buy and aftermarket kit?

 

Mine was all aftermarket, I actually had the dealer work it in on financing... I wouldn't buy the truck unless it had power door locks, so they went ahead and added an alarm and remote start...

Got a good deal on the truck, and worked in wheels and tires and alarm package on top of it all...
