Question Making Max A/C Default?

I'm having remote start installed tomorrow, so I'm wanting Max A/C to turn on by itself instead of defaulting to using outside air instead of recirculating inside air like I want.

Is there a way to make it go to Max A/C by default? It seems like it would be simple, or maybe I've just missed it in the owner's manual.

It's a 2007 Silverado 1500, fairly base model truck.

Thanks

-Rick

I've always been a Ford fan, but I must say I'm loving this damn truck.

Is there seriously no way to do this? I can kill my truck on max a/c and on startup its back on normal a/c...

why would you want to do that? If you truck is sitting in the sun, it will be hotter inside than outside. Using outside air will cool it quicker than cooling hot air inside.

Well after a couple minutes of circulating the hot inside air, wouldn't that be cooler than continuing to pull outside air? I plan on remote starting it 2-3 minutes before getting in. Just wanting it to be good and cool...

It's just habit to use max a/c... Plus I have terrrible allergies and prefer to recirculate inside air.

Awesome. It's not a big deal, I just always leave my A/C on Recirculation Mode (Max A/C) primarily cause I have terrible allergies...

This truck has a cabin filter of some sort right? Perhaps that will help some...

wow, read this yesterday morning and yesterday for lunch I found the answer by accident:
I parked under a tree so when I went to lunch it was relatively cool in the cab. i turned the a/c on high and started talking to passengers - when i went to put it on Recirculation mode, before my finger hit the button, it switched by itself!!!
So it looks like it pulls air from the outside until the inside air is cooler than the outside air, then it switches automatically.

I'll have to pay attention to that... Mine is a pretty base model truck, I'm curious to see if mine will do the same...
