What are your trans temps before and after the TruCool? Fairly easy install?

i got the 6spd but before my tru cool my temps would get as high as upper 160s cruising but now stays mid 130s even in 100* weather! and my tru cool is painted black too... seems to work fine and makes the install that much cleaner... hell my HX came black so a lil paint cant hurt much...

yeah it came silver, i painted it black. yeah its my "True" CAI. its just 4" aluminum straight into a 90* 4" aluminum pipe into a 4" exhaust pipe with a 4" cone filter

no it cools just like its suppose to, there is no difference between "painted" and "not painted" its not like i powdercoated it.

stock i was seeing 185-190*, then converter swap and advance auto cooler it seen 155-160*. racing it'd get up to 175-185* depending how hard i run it. it went to 135-140 cruising, then got in a couple 100mph runs and it only climbed to 150*ish. yeah very simple install, i took the old cooler off. i then unbolted the hood latch bracket and put it in. i drilled a lil bigger hole to allow the bracket to fit. i also took the clips off of the stock bracket and slide it onto the factory holes and used the bolts to hold the brackets to the hood latch bracket like it came that way
