ls2 crank removal

ls2 crank removal
Have 05 ls2 to put into 07 nnbs rcsb. Need to get crank out and change reluxor ring 24x to 58x. Can I pull crank with heads on and leave pistons and rods in it? 16000 mile motor doesn't need to be rebuilt.
