Lowering suspension options for crew cab
#14
Mine doesnt ride all that great, but I am going to try switching all my shocks over to QA1's to see if it helps. Another member on here tried them and loves the way his rides so I may give it a go.

Do they have an Edelbrock IAS shocks for the GMT900's? I have them on my GMT800 and they did make a very big difference in the ride quality.

My 11' was 2/4 dropped using
Belltech adjustable struts for 2" up front
DJM rear flip kit with hanger lift to bring it back up to 4" in the back
No notch, never even changed the rear shocks. I loved the struts as it just firmed up the ride to where I liked it and got rid of those shitty bouncy Rancho shocks that came on the Z71s... and also retained the factory turning radius which is a huge + in a crew cab.
tires are 275/55/20s

You could also use mcgaughys coil relocators up front . Here's mine, front set at 1" & rear has shackles , removed block & spring clamp for a 4" drop. Rides just like stock, just a little firmer out back due to the clamp.
