Lowering suspension options for crew cab

What are my options for lowering my new '12 silvy?

I know I can pull the blocks out of the rear to semi-level it. Along with shackles in the rear to get 2.5/3" out of the rear.

What are the stages I can do the front and rear. I dont want a static (5/7) or whatever it is now with the nnbs's.

I want like 2ish in the front and 4ish in the rear

Im assuming your 12 is the same as my 08 but I could be wrong. Here is mine with a 3-5, control arms in the front with flip kit in the rear. I could have done springs in the front for another 2 inches

WOW that 3/5 looks low!

LaBlackIce 08-09-2012 04:51 PM

i got in the front belltech adjustable struts set at one inch drop and mcg 2 inch drop spindles. In the back I have mcg drop leafsprings and shakles with a block and the belltech street performance shocks for a total of 3/5 drop. I want to set the front struts at two but then i will have rubbing issues. By the way the ride with this set up is super smooth no bouncing at all and it aligned perfect. Do u have c-notch kit

tiffo60 08-09-2012 10:03 PM

I didn't have to notch

LaBlackIce 08-09-2012 10:21 PM

i dont have it notch either i think that you need a notch after 7 inches or more.

What size are your wheels/tire combo and did you lose any turning radius compared to DJM lowering a-arms?

NightmareTBSS 08-10-2012 07:12 AM

Wow. Two slick ass trucks. My TBSS is way too low for a DD!

That's about where I want mine sitting. Thanks guys.

How does it ride? I did the bell tech street struts on the rear of mine and it totally changed the ride, but that's with stock air bags(on the ss)
