Well, I just lowered my truck with the DJM 3/5 kit and i love it. However, installing this kit was a bitch! It took a lot of time and fabrication on the flip kit. The 2009 has some extra random brackets than the previous years.

But to the point,

Does anyone know another website that has an how-to section. I never am doing mods like that again without an how-to on these trucks.

 

Can you please specify what parts you had to modify? I'm going to be doing this here very soon, on my 09 Crew Cab and need to be prepared. I did help my brother-in-law lowering his 07 NNBS ext-cab, and didn't have issues. Any help would be cool! Thanks!

Bout to do a 2/4 on my 09 cc, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

Lost my camera. I'll look tonight to see what all i had to cut off. It really only applied to the flip kit.

 

should of gone with a MCG or Belltech Flip Kit instead of DJM. At 5 inches you are probably struggling with the hangers, which i hear are a pain in the *** to install.

 

Would have been fine if i had a cutting torch.

 

McG's flip kit went on without any modifications on my '09.
