this, corsa is nice on stock setups, LT's kill them, and to be honest, they are WAY too overpriced. I've had many exhausts and personally I think there are many that are just as good if not better for way cheaper

All good info. The 4" sounds good but I have to find a shop that can bend 4" pipe for the exit.

Other thing I saw on magnaflow site was a 3.5" straight through oval muffler. Oval may eliminate the annoying poppy sound under acceleration.

The drone is from dumping it down in front the axle..dump it out the side or at least angle the pipes towards the side and not straight down..as far as 4" bend u can order one for under $20 on ebay from summit ebay sales which i did and muffler shop chopped it to get the angle out right in front rt rear tire... with a 7" OD tip my 5.3 is loud as hell with my 27" long 4" OD Black Cherry glasspack and no drone at cruising speeds 45-70 mph... i love this set up on my 5.3

Edit: my 4" exhaust tailpipe bend was 29.99 thru ebay from summit...but no one local here bends 4" so i was happy

The sound was much worse when we had the turn down angled to the side.

Do any of y'all's truck make a popping sound under partial throttle? Mine does it around 1/2 throttle. Like an old farm truck.

This will be a full pre runner show truck. That's why I want it all perfect.

Quote:Truck has a 20" magnaflow race muffler dumped now.

If thats the round magnaflows then thats why it pops so loudly..that thing's like glassplacks they have no baffles and just straight so your LTs are popping them like hell...need stick bullet style or resonator like stated before .. shud knock that popping sound down

The "popping under throttle" is because of the free flowing exhaust. Its defined as "rasp". To solve that issue get a dynomax bullet 18" is a good one to run. The pop/rasp will be gone.

Are you saying to run that with my current muffler or replace it?

What about the factory resonator? Would it let it flow and not kill the sound at idle any? Trying to avoid getting a cutout
