Default Lifting rear shackle

do they make them to lift the rear? I would like to raise the rear 2 or 3 inches and keep the flip kit in place.

Thanks in advance

i'm pretty sure if you put drop shackles they will raise the truck back up since with the flip kit the the axle is on top the leaf springs.

if you have JUST the flip kit you need to get hangers and shackles.

it depends which flip kit you have. with the djm flip kit you would need a lowering shackle to raise the rear. I think all other flip kits you would need a lifting shackle to raise it. DJM makes a lift shackle.

I have a McGaughey's 7" flip kit. My truck has been riding a little more rough than usual, so I looked under the hood and notice the shocks **** on themselves, lol. I'm going to get some new ones from dealer, unless someone knows where I can get them cheaper than $153 a piece. I have to disassemble the struts to change the shocks, so I figured I would put the stock springs back on. In doing so, I need to raise the rear up 3".

Do i need a lifting or lowering shakle?

If it's a mcgaughey's flip kit you need a lifting shackle but i think the shackle will only lift it 1 inch i'm not sure but you might be able to reinstall the 1 inch block that they took out from between the leaf springs and axle to give you 1 more inch for a total of a 2 inch rear lift

I have a set of take off front strut shocks (just shocks no coils or anything) I sell you for $100 shipped, they only have a few hundred miles on them.

Ashland Rd. is killing me. As a matter of fact all the roads around here pretty much suck, lol.

I like it low too, should be lower

just get a set of rear hangers and put some drop shackles in there for approximately 3" lift...they essentially convert drop shackles into lift shackles, since they just flip them around, plus a little extra lift.
i threw a set of hangers (that i bought from a guy here) on my truck, and it lifted it quite a bit, about 1.5"...
