Well, I just talked to them, and it looks like it will be done tomorrow. He said they were only changing one bank of lifters, which is what I was afraid of. also, i asked him about gm having a "new style" lifter, and he didnt know of any such animal as of now. Can anyone comfirm that gm has this "new" lifter???

looks like you need to start ordering parts for a camswap since the dealer half *** fixed your truck

i really think you need to talk to them more.. i talked to the service manager and there is an undated lifter. and thanks for answering my question.

I figured that, but Im not that concerned with it. I plan on doing a cam swap around the end of feb. anyways. so if it craps out again before that, I'll leave it down and just wait to fix it til i do the cam.

i wish i could do the same..lol.. i just called and i have an appointment on monday to replace lifters... he already knew the part number and exactly what i was talking about.. good luck.
