Default Leveling, I can't decide. Pics please!

I know that I want to level my new 2011 4wd Sierra Crew but I can't decide if I want to lower the rear or lift the front. If I decide to lower the rear I would keep the stock 20" rims and tires and probably use a 2" shackle kit and maybe remove the block. If I decided to lift the front I would keep the 20" rims but go with bigger tires.

Could everyone please post pics of their leveled truck, lift or lowered.

Lift the front unless you are going to slam it.

Nice, like that look NKPPhil. The only thing holding me back from bringing up the front is wondering how it will affect airflow under the truck at high speeds (120-130). Trucks already feel floaty enough over 100.

Thanks but I can't help you much with that one, 91Z28, I haven't had it over about 80 or 85 yet. I've only got 3,000 miles on it and haven't taken it to the strip, but even there I'll never see much over 100 probably. I think if I was building one for that kind of speed I'd lower both ends.

Good luck to ya!

lift the front. no idea why you need to go 120-130 in a 4 wheel crew. maybe up to 110 but after that on a street is just dangerous. i'd say there would be no problems with wind/airflow at 110 on a front lift leveling kit. i've been kicking around the idea myself but don't want to do it until i can change the tires at the same time and the pocket book isn't looking good for that right now!

I went with the front lift and taller tires like Phil. No problems at 120.
