Took it in once for the same leak already. "Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch." Could it be the synthetic or it this thing just backing out? Opinions anyone???

They said the switch was "defective." Didn't say why but the guy didn't sound to knowledgeable. We'll see if it happens again.

could be one of those things like the water pumps on the 00's. Hopefully its a one time fix tho. I think my water pump might be just barely juicing again cuz I smell coolant now and then on the freeway

John, sounds like a defective part... I haven't heard of this before on the NNBSs yet though

It didn't leak in my driveway but when I went to my father in-laws it would leave a small puddle. He's got a decline going into it which I think caused the oil to move forward in the pan and come out.

I cant imagine the synthetic causing oil leaks. The parts aren't any different than those on the LS3 and those are factory fill synthetic.

FWIW, my steering rack has been leaking since day one (8300 miles). Dealer says twice that its normal seepage from assembly prelube. Its bure BS because the fluid level keeps dropping. Havent tried another dealer yet.
