Default intake & tb questions

are the new nnbs 5.3 intakes and/or throttle bodies different from the L92s or the tbss?
is it worth putting in either a L92 or tbss intake and/or throttle body in my 5.3?
thanks in advanced

The L92 intake can't fit the 5.3. The L92 has rectangular port heads and the 5.3 has cathederal ports. From what I've read the tbss has a better intake than the 5.3 that should fit. I think the throttle bodies are the same on the L92 and the tbss (87mm). not os sure about the 5.3 though.

Oww yeah thats right, the L92 is different
i thought all of the nnbs already came w the 87mm tb but wasnt 100% sure
so i guess the tbss intake is my only option
is there any proof or evidence (like a dyno comparison) that the tbss intake is better than the nnbs stock ones?

upgrade to a 90mm, leave your intake alone, its actually the same as the TBSS....if i was you id get a p&p 90mm tb or spend the extra cash on a Fast tb or something of the sort...
i have a LS2 tb an 4" CAI on my 5.3 an it pulls a lot harder 4000rpm+

TBSS and NNBS share the same intake+ throttle body (87MM) but with a slight port u got A 90MM / as for the L76 /L92 intake- it would NOT be a direct due 2 the rectangle head port (just like CI Denali ) said .. and 5.3 (l33,ly5,ect) have cathederal ports-

yes F.A.S.T does have 102MM tb , but you also need a 102MM intake , which runs about 1K < a 5.3 with 102MM intake ( not a good idea) you need atleast a l76/l92/ls3 + a big Intake cam . . if not ur little engine is going 2 choke with that much Air..

If I ported my tb that would make it 90mm, right?
And what diffrence can I expect from ported heads and tb?
