Default Installed headers, wont idle

So i installed my headers last weekend and finally got my exhaust today. My truck ran ok for the most part but from time to time it would drop down to 200-300 rpm's and barely run then it would be fine with no probs. well i just jumped in the truck to run to taco bell and it was idling weird then cleaned up within a couple blocks of my house. i got about a mile from my house and it started the 200-300 rpm thing and it doesnt matter if i ease into the throttle or flat mat it it doesnt do ****. No codes or anything it just barely runs and smells like gas somethin severe. i retuned it back to stock(all i have is superchips flashpaq right now) and it got better but still acting up like crazy. does anyone have any ideas where to start looking for my problem?

Sounds like an exhaust leak at the collector-Y pipe interface, allowing outside air to one or both o2 sensors.

Ugh.. I shoulda atleast popped the hood... The intake tube popped loose. The hose clamp was tight as hell so idk how it came off but this was the problem.

Been there, lol. Happened on my way home from work one day. Just pulled off and fixed it really quick. Hasn't happened since.

mine did something simular after i did some work to it. I had the battery disconected and when I finished I put my cable back on and it ran like poo for about 30 minutes with a really low idle but it straightened back up.

Just did something very similar when changing out my airfilter. It runs much better with the MAF hooked up. LOL
