Default I want hi quality quiet gears. Who makes them

I'm thinking I will be doing 4.10s in a few months. I want more of a sports truck. I have 3.42s now with a 6.2L 4x4. I'm reading on here they are not really needed with a 6speed but I'm not doing a cam or headers because I have a warranty and don't want to void it buy doing something permanent to the motor. I think gears wont void the warranty other then on the axles. I have a tuner, 90mm TB, a MIT and will do a Borla Touring cat back. I'm looking for some quiet hi quality gears and will be using the stock g80 locker. What manufacturer should I get them from. The Truck will have around 3000miles on it when they go in so what will I need to do it right. Is there anything my installer will need to know about the 9.5 and front axle with a g80 locker. He does gears but don't think hes done any on a truck this new.

They told me that is all up to the guy that is doing the work. If he is good the gears are not going to whine. Also depends on how you break them in.. by the way if you have a tune in you truck now the dealerships can find out with their computer ..trust me i know..lol...i had a hard time when i took my truck and they told me that my computer had a tune.

The quality of work does matter a lot if they set up the lash properly but the brand does absolutely matter. I did mine with liberty and they are know for quality gears for circle track and stock car. But they do sing a little. And the grease pattern was spot on front and rear. And even after I drove for a few thousand miles I rechecked the back lash and it was still spot on. So to answer qeustion even with the gears setup properly they can still sing . The brand is the big difference. The only ones I've heard not singing is of coarse first choice OEM and I also heard very good things about Yukon. And if u go with another brand and its setup right and it still sings I would say learn to live with it. Because the cost is real high to just make a lil noise go away. A little noise can be ok but a lot of noise most likely means it was set up wrong.

The guy at the dealership told me that they got a new computer program that how they found out. The good thing is that where i work they send all the trucks to get them service in that dealership so the guy worked on my truck under warranty he was very cool about it this was about 3 weekss ago.

Go with the USA Standard Gear 4.10s. They are the o.e. gears and I have the 4.10s with truetrac and they are silent not one drop of gear noise after 10,000 miles on them so far

IT depends on how I drive

I have a 2" leveling kit on the front with 275/60/20s so my rpms are not bad. If drive 70 @ 2000rpms I get 18-20mpg but if I drive spirited it gets 15-17 above 80mph
