Hybrid 9 inch rear vs 14 bolt.........

2007-up 6.2L 2wd come with 9.5'' rear... AWD Denali's have 8.6'' rear, not sure about 4x4

the 14 bolt is refered to as a hybrid option in my ss. because its a 2500 rear end in a 1500. well thats what ive heard at least, it makes sense. when i ran my vin for all options it said hybrid rear axle

I was hoping someone made a 6 or 8 lug ford 9 inch using factory rear disc brakes. But parish went low 10s on 10 bolt. Stock48 went 9s on 10 bolt. For drag racing 10 bolt will work. But big heavy mud tires and off road go 14 bolt sf.
