i went two years on a 10 bolt. wrinkle walls nitrous out of the hole lifting the tire on a 4200 pound truck. that had 180k before i even built it. trutrac/richmond/ta girdle.

the 14 bolt needs the same love. the g80 in my SS is broke and that was when it was stock.

Well, the 8.6 is really no different than the 8.5 10 bolt introduced in the early 70's other than different carrier bearings diameters.
The 9.5 14 bolt is completely different design that is often confused with the original 14 bolt 10.5", which is a bad boy.
So the Hybrid is a totally new design is what I'm asking? Or like the 8.5 to 8.6 "upgrade"?
