About 6-7 months ago I put 6k hid's in my highs lows and fogs. I don't get bright lighted what so ever with my lows on but if I have my lows+ fogs I get bright lighted non stop so what are you nnbs guys doing to help prevent this? I've done some searching and haven't come up with anything..

 

I used to get flashed when I first put mine in. I am running 35w 5000k in both the fogs and lows. What I finally did was adjust the beam to angle down towards the road more. I did that about 2 months ago and I have not been flashed since I have adjusted them. They do spread the light pattern really far but if they are angled right they will not blind oncomming traffic and still light the road 100 times better than the stock lights.

 

Well I crawled under mine to see if they were adjustable and I don't see where the fogs could be adjustable...

 

I hate when guys that run HIDs in oncoming traffic. Its like looking into a welding arc.
But im with mjd, just adjust them to where they point down more.

 

Are you a Silverado or a Sierra? My Sierra had adjustments on the fogs to angle them down more. Not sure on the Silverado. I might have to go out and check my wife's truck tomorrow.

 

Mines a silverado, yea I don't like blinding people either that's why I'm trying to find a solution.

 

Mine have a **** on them that I just turned to angle them down. I will get under my wifes tomorrow and see if I can see anything.

 

Yea I'm at work but I just went and double checked mine and all I see is the mounting screws...

 

so what blubs are you guys running for the fogs? is it a h16?
