Hello from Noob

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say hello, back in the GM fray after an ill-fated experiment with a Dodge Diesel (found out three things 1-I could have designed a better-built truck than dodge 2-Dodge warranty service suck worse than most 3-I can't afford to play in diesel land).
Picked up a CC/SB 07 Vmax 4x4 LTZ with about 40k on the odo. I absolutely love the truck and for my needs (very occasional light towing and DD) it fits much better than the 3500 Diesel Ram.
Besides saying hello, also wanted to ask a question. My truck reads about 30-ish on the oil pressure at idle when warm, 40-ish at cruise. The pressure comes right up when I accelerate, without any hesitation. Based on my searches this seems normal as it seems that the L76 doesn't have the oil pressure that I recall my 02 Sierra 5.3 having. My only concern is that when idling when warm, the gauge seems to "wander" somewhat between about 25-35. Seems rock-steady at cruise. Is this normal or is something bleeding down then pumping back up? Engine runs great, is quiet, and performs great. Is this something I should be watching or is it normal? I guess after a couple years of huge $$$ fixing the Ram repeatedly I'm a little gun-shy as well.

Yea, Diesel world can get expensive, but oh so worth it!!!
Might slide into it in a couple of years. My 98 Yukon is still all I need for the ranch and to pull at this point.
n my bros F250 handles the bigger stuff.
We need pics of your truck!!!

i put a manual guage on my last truck and the one on the dash was about 10 psi off.. so i wouldnt be too concerned with it..... I would watch it, if it continues to fall then i would be concerned
