Default has anyone towed a boat with a 5/7 drop on rcsb?

thinking of going 5/7 on stock tahoe 20s but i have a small boat that i tow will that be safe?

+1. I'd get helper bags as well. they help no matter what

I can't get more than a couple hundred pounds in the bed and it bottoms out often. You are gonna need helper bags!

i drive an 07 truck and tow...haul... all the time it had a 5/7 no notch with 275-45-20 that would rub the bed barely when the suspension was bottomed out if you have small enough tires <30"s to be exact and can tollerate a few bumps and bangs i wouldn't bother you wont do any damage but stock tahoe tires are too big to clear the our beds' inner fenders

by the way i tow a 24 foot pontoon and a loaded car trailer regularly

thanks for your help guys im gona order a kit tomorrow,by the way how would i get a 5/7 all i can find is 4/7? And does anybody have pics of a 5/7 with 275/45/20 tires thanx.

my avatar pic is a 5/7 with 275 45 20 but its kind of hard to see through the smoke
the first pic are 22's with 264 40 22's at 6/8ish the second is 4.5/7 on 275 45 20

3" spring from western chassis and a 2" spindle = 5"
