408 found its home in the frame today. Gotta do all wiring connections, install intake, add front pulley and all the accessories including the starter. It should be easy. Hopefully I'll have her running again Wednesday, I have meetings to attend Monday afternoon so that kills the whole day.

Still contemplating. I wanna go but if I don't find work soon I'll be homebound. I have three other mouths to feed that depend on my income so I can't be blowing money I don't have. This engine project was paid for before the layoff, otherwise I wouldn't be working on it right now.

Meeting is to help locate jobs, they build me a nice resume and provide job search assistance. All provided by my previous employer, Halliburton, such great guys.

Engine is together and running great! 60 PSI at cold start, 50 PSI at operating tempature. Now to work out the tune, NelsonPerformance is tweaking it. This E38 computer is an odd duck with the fuel pump control settings and all the weirdness they built into it.

I would but its raining/sleeting at the moment, plus it looks bone stock with no external mods other than the -8 fuel line running over to the nitrous solenoid. Even the noids are under the cover so you really can't see them either, looks kind of boring.

Thanks. The nitrous noids are just hanging on bolts that hold the intake cover on, using the supplied bracket provided by NX. One day when it warms up around here and I don't mind standing out in the weather for 5 minutes, maybe I'll shoot a pic. The nitrous wiring isn't done yet, just noid placement, hoses between the noids and plate and plate install is finished. I need to get to installing the 80e so i can spray this thing in 1000 or so miles.
