Finally did the headlight mod too and i loved it and also threw a twist in it with the hid kit that i got but just trying to wait for the fog light kit to come out for the truck also. Hopefully have some pics of the mod soon just too busy to do anything around the truck but when i get back i will post. And i want to thank yall guys and jba1 with the link to how to remove the head light and everyone else with the idea.

I guess they came out with a new kind that aint so sticky. I forget just what its called.

 

I know this is an old thread, but i wanted to share a little tip. Instead of painters tape, use Glad press and seal to mask off what you dont want painted. I have done this on VW's, mini's and plan on doing it to my silverado. It works far better (alot quicker) than tape and doesn't leave any residue behind.
