Can't go wrong for that cheap imho. I live the way mine sounds with it. Mean enough to know something is up, but tame as hell that i can talk without my wife getting annoyed

 

I have a stock duramax exhaust on my 6L truck and its a little louder than stock but not too bad. My cats broke apart and were rattling in the stock muffler so I found the duramax exhaust for free. Sounds good in my opinion. I cut and modded it to fit how i like it so it's not really a direct bolt on.

I even got one for my turbo rcsb 5.3L to make it quieter but I havent put it on yet. Most of the time you can find people giving them away for free or for a case of beer.
