Driveshaft recommendations.

1) Is this problem only on crew cabs, or is it a general problem amongst all NNBS pickups?
2) If you were to take a bone stock pickup and do nothing else except tune away the speed limiter, and then travel in excess of 100mph with this otherwise stock pickup, would the OEM driveshaft be just as likely to blow apart on it, as say a highly modded pickup with gobs more power than stock?

high speed balance the factory shaft for starters, they are balanced from the factory to match the speed limiter on the truck, and therefore shake above that and can
break.
by the cost of the plans for the rest of the truck, a built shaft may not be the end of the world though.
2wd shafts seems to have more problems as they are longer[ no trans case]
my 2wd 07 nnbs had a 96" one piece shaft and shook on the dyno in 3rd gear
break.

I just took out one on a NNBS CC, while tunning. Started to vibrate right at 100 mph, then I let go of the throtlle, then . Scared the **** of me and the owner. This also seems to be more of a problem on the 2wd crew cabs. I would go ahead and get a built one, save you a head ache and the possibility of damaging other stuff or an accident.
