Default Driver Information Center 2008 Sierra SLT

Been looking around for a NNBS Truck for a new daily driver and I've been looking at my options as far as upgrades go. I would probably do the D.I.C. Upgrade if I found a truck that wasn't equipped with one. But I've noticed that under the fitment information for the listing it shows that they are will not work with an SLT package. Not sure if it means the SLT should have come with it to begin with, of if the dash wiring harness is different. After doing some searching it looks like some wt package trucks do not have the connector for it inside the dash. Just curious if anyone has come across this.

I just installed the DIC on a 10' wt silverado last week. It's a friends truck. No power anything and the wiring was there. Works normal.

My 2008 RCSB WT had the wiring for the DIC.

Hmmm interesting. Still don't know why it lists not for SLT models.

Because the SLT one is not factory correct for a WT. It doesn't always mean that it won't Physically fit, but more so that it's not the correct option for that trim level.

All SLT's come from factory with DIC already and it is a complete different trim piece due to the SLT's having the "luxury" dash installed in them.

In the WT and SLE, the DIC switch is on the left of the steering wheel; on the SLT and Denali it's to the right of the steering wheel.

Just searching old threads for DIC info...
Came up with GM p/n 19159438 for the WT and SLE... The SLT supposedly had the buttons on the RH side and I haven't found a p/n.
Supposed to be plug and play.
