Custom Tuning
I currently have the Predator tuner from Diablosport. I was thinking about having a custom tune downloaded on it for an exrtra $100. So i would be out $400 total for a tune. Does anyone do custom tunes via email or local.
I have heard horror stories about some of the local tuners here in Houston.
I have called Wheatly left a message and emailed him with no response.
(In my book he must not want my business being i tried to contact him via 2ways with no response.)
I've known of a few people who have had Diablew tunes and their tunes via email based off data logging are within 5-8hp of a custom dyno tune.
The only bad thing with that is the lack of TCM. I have heard positives and negative responses to the TCM as it's the weakest link with a 6.2L.
Whatcha think?

there are plenty of tuners around your area.
You may have to do a little driving for Nelson, Flaco or other tuner but look around.
I have black bear and he is in Cali lol. I have to ship my computer out to him just to get my rear O2's tune out.

When I get my tune its going to be with Patrick G, he's down in the Victoria area. I have heard nothing but good things about his VVT tuning and how much its worth on these 6.2l's. He'll do a street tune followed by a Dyno tune to do any fine tweaking, he's not cheap but i'd be willing to put money not many tuners go to the extent this guy does.
