Default cold start lifter tick

GM has a PI out on short duration cold start lifter tick on 5.3 and 6.0 engines
with afm. Mine seems to do it on cold starts and lasts about a minute or so.
Does anyone else have this problem? I guess there is new lifters to correct this but I was thinking I would replace mine with conventional lifters instead.
Completely different set up then the afm lifters so I'm thinking I would need different length push rods. Has anyone done this yet??

A PI is called Peliminary Information. If GM has enough issues the PI will turn
into a Bulletin.

Been there done that. I had the same tick, and my lifters were replaced under warranty.
