Default clearance with a 4/7 drop

2011 silverado, going to do a MCG 4/7 drop. Have stock tires 275/55/R20, and plan on mounting mud flaps. Are there any clearance issues with tires or flaps. Most pics i see of 4/7 drops no one is running flaps.

There's a reason for this. They look horrible in stock form. JMO but I wouldn't do it at all.

Can I ask the reason why you want to run mud flaps?

Lowered or not mud flaps are going to save your paint. Roads up here always have gravel on them.

I guess you could get some of that clear body armor from the shops installed...

to op, any pics of your truck? I am sure I will see you around town.

already have a few chips in the paint, the plastic protective film is nice but dont want to see a line on the door panel. if i can fit it and clear the tires, i will bolt on the flaps.

..........except me.

Keniff, your truck looks great! Is it 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Do the 2WD and 4WD GMT900 trucks have the same stock ride height? I have to ask, because 2WD trucks literally DO NOT exist up here in the Last Frontier. I'm thinking they are the same, gut feeling, but I'm not sure. I've actually NEVER seen a 2WD GMT900 truck in person.

Yes they are the same height. That's one of the reasons I bought the 2WD.
