As far as mods just look at my sig. Camshaft, LT headers, cool air intake, exhaust, custom tune, basic stuff.
I don't know why you would want a higher RPM stall for a street truck, I can roast my tires now whenever I want to and I have 3.42 gears, locking diff, and 275/55-r20 tires. The only way I could use a higher stall is if I was running drag radials.
did you install the 300mm 2600 or the 278mm 2600 ? thanks

You probably wouldn't want anything over 2600 rpm stall. With all that low end torque you probably got. My converter would probably stall close to 3000 rpm behind your mill. That's if your back brakes could handle it.

Thanks
PM sent. I haven't yet re-tuned my shift points and it runs fine except with traction control on, when I floor it it wants to stick in 1st gear, I believe it thinks that the tires are steady spinning. When I turn TC off it runs just fine. I think I'm going to have my shift points raised, but after I get a 1/4 mile time. I'm also going to have some more of the torque management pulled out being that the new converter softened up the shifts some.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys. I was thinking that since I have the stall converter and it slips more than the stock converter, I'm now spinning my transmission pump slower at comparable RPMs versus the stock converter. Therefore I should be able to safely raise my shift points and redline up some to compensate. With my current engine set-up I believe I can set my redline up to around 6800 rpms. The only reason my shift points are still at 6200 is to save the transmission pump. I'm thinking I can raise my shift points to around 6400 or 6500 with the new converter. What do you guys think?
