Default Check engine light with tune

Hi guys, my check engine light is on...... should I have Wheatley put my computer back to stock before I take it in? I emailed Charlie a few weeks ago and haven't heard from him.

Have someone pull the code(s) first. How many miles and months on it?

May not be worth going back to the dealer - if it's out of the 36K / 36 MO factory warranty . . .

I would go to autozone, or somewhere that can read what code your throwing before taking it in. A lot of autopart stores will do this for free.

Try calling Wheatley. I have a bad habbit of forgetting/missing emails myself.

Most likely not.

However, there is a CHANCE that it COULD be covered, if the code(s) are caused by a faulty ECM or catalytic converter, as by Federal Law those items are covered by the manufacturer for 8 years, 80K miles.

Once you pull your DTCs post 'em here and I'll try to lend a hand.

I own an independent auto repair shop and our driveability tech is damned good.
