Default Changing Oil...........

Yeah- sounds simple, but is the reset procedure the same(step on and hold pedal for 5 seconds 3 times) to turn off the oil change lite in the dash..........

Yeah, I think thats how I did mine. You need to have it on the oil life indicator on the DIC and you'll see it change too 100% IIRC.

doesn't have to be 5 seconds. Just put it to the floor a few times with the key on.

Pedal has to go all the way to the floor, and all the way back up(TPS 0%-100%-0%-100%-0%-100%-0%, etc) within 5 seconds of turning on the ignition. If you have floor mats in the way, it can cause problems. It often takes several attempts to reset, especially if the truck is waaayyyyyy past due for the oil change.

I always did the key to accessory then push the gas pedal 3 times...

After the oil light stops flashing open the door and remove the key. On the next start up the light may flash 5 times and go out. The key is doing 3 complete 0-100% cycles with the gas pedal with the 5 second window.

huh, I thought I just pushed and held the "check" mark logo when on the oil life and that reset it.....
