From my home in the Richmond area, I'm over an hour from Lonestar Motorsports Park (Hennessey's place) in Sealy, about the same to HRP in Baytown, and about 3 hours from SAR in Marion.

Those times are all with no traffic tie-ups, of course. When are there no tie-ups in the Houston area?
Ouch, yeah man that would be tough, we are very fortunate.

We also have a very nice NHRA track called Texas Motorplex about 1 hour away.

I've raced at the Motorplex several times through the years, and at the Redline 1/8th mile once back in '01.

In fact, I'll be at the Motorplex - pulling my raggedy ol' Firebird - on June 12 with the Dallas Area Pontiac Association for their annual Pontiac Southern Nationals races.

Not really to low, I actually had it an inch lower in the back with the factory block pulled, but I since it is just going to be a DD vehicle pretty soon I don't need it so low.

how is the ride with the leafs??? my last truck had drop leafs and they were stiff!
